...vibrant downtown... renowned Camas Lilies...

Camas is a small town on the Washington side of the Gorge named after the Camas Lily. Located on the remains of an extinct volcano, Camas lies directly across the Columbia from the Oregon city of Troutdale. Boasting a vibrant downtown, a wonderful lake recreation area, (Lacamas Lake) and other amenities, stop by and see what is going on. Early spring is the best time to view the renowned Camas Lilies. Continue on up Highway 14 and do some birdwatching at nearby Steigerwald Wildlife Refuge.
