Corbett is a small community in the western Gorge that sits high atop the Historic Columbia River Highway. The town was named for Senator Henry W. Corbett who owned land in the area in the late 1800s.

Access this picturesque area from I-84, exit 22.

Points of interest: Vista House at Crown Point. This rest area is one of the grandest you will ever visit. Do not go without your camera. The views from this hilltop are famous.

Portland Women’s Forum State Scenic Viewpoint. Located just east of Corbett, this viewpoint overlooks Rooster Rock State Park and has views of Vista House, Washington State and the entire Gorge.
