About the Show

When you gather 12 artists in a room and ask them to determine what topics they would like to explore in an upcoming show, the conversation that follows can be very interesting!

Such was the case when the Columbia Center for Arts gathered the 12 exceptional Northwest artists who will be featured in the May 2012 show. Their decisions? Four very intriguing subjects, which brings an exciting array of art to this month's show.

Texture, featuring the work of photographer Adam LaPierre, oil painter Celeste Bergin, and fabric artist Judi Kane.

Light, featuring the work of oil painter Amanda Houston, painter and sculptor Dave Sherburne, and acrylic painter Michelle Yamamoto.

Reflections, featuring the work of acrylic painter Beth Lyons, photographer David Burbach, and glass artist Kris Joy.

Birds, featuring the work of watercolorist Bonnie White, acrylic painter J. Neils Harvey, and pastel artist Karen Watson.
