FIRST FRIDAY EVENTS AT RIP CASWELL GALLERY:
From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans... we love our country and her land. This love is evidenced by the beauty of our artists' work this month as we share with you the American landscapes that make us all so proud.

Featured Landscape Artists this month include:

Buck Layton, photographer whose image of Cape Kiwanda on the Oregon Coast in the heading above is titled, "Morning Mist" and who captured the rugged beauty of an American mountain range in his photo titled, "Winter Barn & Tetons."

Maud Durland, watercolorist who brings us beautiful and familiar images from the Northwest, such as "Meadow" seen here.

Defying the odds, yet again, we have expanded the lineup and opened a new facility right in the Gateway to the Gorge.

Why in an art gallery, you ask? Well, at Mt. Defiance we believe wine is art - and nothing expresses our spirit better than enjoying the pleasures within the glass as one contemplates the defiant artistry of Rip Caswell's sculptures.

FREE WINE TASTING DURING ART WALK 5pm - 9pm! Tasting will include Hellfire & Brimstone, Mt. Defiance Pinot Gris and Reserve Merlot

Back by popular demand! Bryan Arakelian with his amazing vocals and guitar. Bryan's repetoire includes just about everything ever recorded by the Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel and the Beatles - as well as a few real rock pieces including Pink Floyd. Come and hear him sing and play for us during Art Walk!
